Close to Forever An exciting and ever evolving project from Dale Caldwell (Voices from the Vacant Lot, Martenitsa) and Ben Fink (The Whitlams, Lior, Christa Hughes, Waiting for Guinness, Voices from the Vacant Lot) Close To Forever share their handcrafted interpretations of songs of love and loss, sorrow and joy, they transport you into a world of lush harmonies, beautiful silences and timeless melodies. From their origins, armed with two voices, guitar and haunting atmospheric effects they are now often being visited upon by the phenomenal talents of Peter Hollo (Fourplay, Raven) on cello and effects, Sam Golding ( Darth Vegas, Tango Saloon, The Fantastic Terrific Munkle) on a plethora of horns and Danny Heifetz (Mr Bungle, Link Wray, Tango Saloon,Badly Drawn Boy, Old Man River) on drums. They share original works, favourite rarities and uncovered gems (anything from Tim Buckley and Cat Power to Nina Simone and Armenian traditional laments). They have been described as indie anti – folk. Plus Chris Abrahams – Solo Piano
