Shine a light on Devonport this winter as Tasmania’s premier annual Jazz festival, Devonport Jazz, returns for its 16th year. A concoction of Australia’s best Jazz musicians will descend on Devonport from 27-30 July, spicing up Devonport with the sultry sounds of blues, the toe-tapping of trad and the tempo of swing.

Featuring, The Idea of North, Australia’s foremost contemporary vocal ensemble and two-time Aria Award winning a cappella group in a featured concert and workshop.

And don’t miss Monica Trapaga & the Bachelor Pad. This energetic charismatic Sydney based jazz singer wows audiences with her musical diversity.

We will also host international Polish jazz sensations Myrczek & Tomaszewski in an intimate concert.

Featuring concerts, film, dance and workshops, Devonport Jazz is sure to be an experience that will warm your soul and ignite your urge for the intoxicating buzz that only Jazz can bring.
